All eyes on the GS1 GoScan iPhone App Launch

The GS1 GoScan iPhone app is in final preparation for its official launch to the Apple iTunes Store at the event in Sydney on 21 March 2013.

Since the targeted consumer release of GS1 GoScan in October 2012, our GS1 GoScan users have kept busy shopping, scanning and providing valuable feedback to help the GS1 GoScan team put the final touches on the app to get it ready for launch.

Exciting new features include its ability to link data from certified bodies, such as the National Heart Foundation, and the additional Browse capability to allow consumers to navigate products in GoScan based on the category.

In the lead up to the launch you will notice an increase in social media and public relations activity as well as a number of industry events taking place with the promotion of GoScan on the radio waves and other communication channels.

Look out for the official launch of GS1 GoScan and get ready to download it free from the Apple iTunes Store onto your iPhone, iPad or iPod on 21 March 2013.

Brand owners – don’t miss out! There is still time to get your products on the app before its official launch.  Contact 1300 BAR CODE (1300 227 263) or email gs1goscan@gs1au.org

GS1net Basic Seminar - Learn how to kick-start your GS1net project

Getting product data right and being able to share this data with your trading partners quickly and effectively is vital in a world of global markets and rapid change.

The solution is GS1net – the data pool used by Australian and New Zealand businesses to exchange standardised and synchronised supply chain data with their trading partners.

To help you with your GS1net implementation, GS1 Australia invites you to join GS1net experts and guest speakers from leading Australian retailers to discover how to get your GS1net project started and realise the benefits.

Who should attend?

  • Has your GS1net Project stalled?
  • Have you been asked to do data synchronisation by Metcash, Coles, Woolworths, Mitre 10, Danks or Officeworks?
  • You have registered for GS1net but don’t know where to start?
  • Have you achieved GS1net ‘Ready ‘status but you are still not ‘Live’?
  • Are you new to the world of GS1net and need to know more?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, then participating in this seminar in Melbourne or Sydney is a must!
